Babies are born with a reflex to suck any object placed in their mouth.  This behavior helps during the first few months of establishing feeding, and disappears at around 4 months. Well unless you live under a rock, it's no secret that orthodontic treatment can be a bit uncomfortable at times.  Friends, my space, twitter…practically everybody has something to say about getting their braces fitted and later adjusted.  But remember, everybody has a different perspective, some people are just very sensitive to pain and everybody’s treatment plan is just that little bit different so keep an open mind!
