Oh my goodness!!!! Well let me just say that there are absolutely NO elegant ways to apply wax to your teeth…none! You take a blob of wax, about the size of a pea, and roll it around to soften it a little, then flatten it just a bit and hope it sticks to your finger. You then pull your cheek out and suck in some air to ‘dry’ the tooth and dive in… Your finger and thumb both have to get in there (not easy when the cheek is ulcerated already I can tell you!) and squeeze the wax onto/around the bracket ...

Day 2 (well technically day ¾) Well other than a slight confusion when I woke in the middle of the night, took a bit to register what that feeling on my teeth was, I’m still feeling pretty good. I can feel some slight pressure on my teeth but otherwise no excruciating pain of which I have read, no lips embedded in braces to peel away…something else I have been lead to believe could happen!
